This is something which has just crossed my mind as I'm still in media studies. Flo Rida. Reemember him? he did the cool apple bottom jeans song, yeah?
So, let me paint a picture for you. I'm sitting at home, minding my own business, talking to adina when all of a sudden, she turns on mtv hits and "the top ten biggest tracks of the moment" is on. We got to it at number 3 which was kelly clarkson's "my life would suck without you" which made me all happy because I love kelly clarkson :D
anyways, number 2 is "beautiful" by Akon and that Kardinal Offishal dude. thats actually an alright song, i decided. Okay, so number one. Flo Rida. I had'nt heard this song before this and I figured it must be good, after all: apple bottom jeans, and its supposed to be the biggest track of the moment, right?
So you can imagine my horror when Flo Rida starts singing "you spin me right round" sounding exactly like Pete Burns and then theres some basically naked girls and the whole thing is just awful and im shocked and its just LAMEEEEEEEEEEE and im sadended that he would copy a song by pete burns. It wasnt even successful when pete burns tried re-realesing it a few years ago. so why would it work now?!
silly, silly man.
On, a happier note; benji smith can suck my toes; its all he's good for.

I heard the Flo Rida version a while ago and my mum was singing along to it. It was a weird experience.
